Molly Arbogast, MSW, LSW (IL)
Executive Director
Molly Arbogast has served as Executive Director of the NASW West Virginia Chapter since 2021. During her time with NASW, she has also served as Chair-Elect (2022-23) and Chair (2023-24) of the Council of Chapter Executives Steering Committee. Prior to NASW, Molly served as the Development Director of Carnegie Hall (Lewisburg, WV). She previously served as Executive Director of Dublin Food Pantry (Ohio) and also worked in fundraising & development roles with the American Cancer Society and a youth homelessness agency in Chicago. She completed her Master of Social Work and Post-Masters Certificate in Philanthropy and Non-Profit Management at Loyola University Chicago. Molly is currently pursuing her MBA at University of Illinois.

Halle Stewart, MSW
Membership & Advocacy Manager
Halle Stewart has worked with the NASW West Virginia Chapter since 2021, focusing on membership engagement, programming, and legislative advocacy. Originally from Hurricane, WV, she earned her BSW (with a minor in American Politics & Policy) and MSW from West Virginia University, where she was a graduate assistant with the Rural Integrated Behavioral Health Training Program. Her background includes behavioral health support for children on the autism spectrum, working with adolescents in residential care, organizing community health programs, and enhancing quality of life for older adults with dementia through reminiscence therapy. These experiences have shaped her commitment to advocacy and her belief that systemic change can strengthen every part of social work practice in West Virginia.

Alexandra "Ally" Schmouder
West Virginia University Student
Ally is currently in her second year of the Master of Social Work program at West Virginia University. She earned her bachelor's degree in public health with an emphasis in community health and engagement, along with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. She now teaches introductory Women's and Gender Studies courses at WVU as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Ally is passionate about policy and advocacy and looks forward to strengthening these skills through her learning practicum with NASW WV!

Jasmine Baker
West Virginia University Student
Jasmine is a dedicated substance abuse counselor at the Anchor Project, bringing both personal resilience and professional experience to her work in behavioral health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2017 from West Virginia University Institute of Technology, which laid the foundation for her career in social services and mental health.
As a former foster youth and now a foster and adoptive parent, she has a deep-rooted passion for child welfare, trauma-informed care, and helping families heal and thrive. Her lived experience gives her a unique perspective and fuels her commitment to advocacy and equity in the systems that serve vulnerable communities.
In addition to her clinical work, she is pursuing a social work degree to expand into new areas of practice. Her long-term goal is to open her own therapy practice in Montgomery, West Virginia, focused on providing accessible, compassionate care for underserved individuals and families.
