Fostering Spiritual Capital: A Neglected Client Resource
Led by Dr. Michael C. Richards, D.Min., M.Div., MSW, LGSW, this session explores how clinicians, agencies, and institutions can help clients build spiritual capital through spiritual practices, organized religion, or counseling.
Attendees will learn how to integrate this emerging concept into their work, examine its relevance for marginalized populations, and develop trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming practices to support clients’ spiritual well-being.
