2020 Spring Conference for Social Workers
April 29, 30 & May 1, 2020
Charleston (WV) Coliseum and Convention Center
The 2020 Spring Conference & Coronavirus Disease - COVID-19
The National Association of Social Workers and its West Virginia Chapter are closely monitoring developments related to the respiratory illness commonly referred to as the Coronavirus (COVID 19). We will continue monitoring information provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization and local public health authorities and will provide updates should plans change.
On or about April 5th, we will reassess whether the NASW WV 2020 Spring CE Conference, scheduled for the dates of April 29, 30 & May 1, can proceed as planned. The tentative plan, if we cannot meet in person, is to hold a virtual training on the original dates and postpone the in-person conference to a later date. We would honor the published 'early bird' registration rates. Registered participants would have the option to lock in both the virtual and live events at the rate already paid. We will also honor refund requests.
