Founded in 1955, the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world, with more than 120,000 members. NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to advance sound social policies.

Jennifer Wells, MSW of Huntington is Chapter President-Elect.

Ms. Wells is the Executive Director of the WV Healthy Kids and Families Coalition. Among other distinctions, she also serves as President of the Board for the WV Center on Budget and Policy. She earned her MSW from WVU after relocating to WV from New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.
